Levallois-Perret is an appealing suburb to the northwest of Paris, just outside the city’s Périphérique ring road. It was once an industrial town: the Statue of Liberty was built here and the local Citröen factory for many years produced the celebrated 2CV. These days it’s an important business hub and also an attractive and popular place to live, especially for familes. Levallois has a pretty town centre and all the amenities you would expect. Meanwhile, the centre of Paris is just about 6 kilometres away and there are excellent connections to all parts of the city by Métro, RER train and bus, so it’s a good choice for commuters too.
